About

This site is being built upon the conviction that the human body, in all its astounding complexity and nude simplicity, is a thing of beauty, and that human sexuality is something to be deeply honoured and celebrated. “Intimography” is a word invented by someone who did alot of drawing to make peace with the questions she had about her own body and sexuality, to describe the new way of seeing that drawing allows.

The purpose of the artwork shared here is not meant for stimulation… it does not seek to be pornographic, or even erotic, instead, to offer an intimate portrait of the human body lovingly celebrating its sexuality in respectful ways. There is too much exploitation out there to possibly fight it off – this effort is, instead, to add new imagery to the domain of sexuality –  imagery that shows tenderness, caring and love between partners and through the artist’s eyes as the body and its sensual gestures of sharing are graphically immortalized.

This is a space for presenting artists and their work, but it is also an open invitation, a place to offer your viewpoints on the subject. Because the focus is on a different way of seeing things that unfortunately, is uncommon in the easily-accessible images of sex on the Web, for now, the authors of this site reserve the right to filter submissions. We have created this space with the desire that even youth can learn more visually about their sexuality, when it is presented in an honest but respectful way.
